Okura-Shukokan Special Exhibition "Spring in Okura-Shukokan: Celebrating the New Year and Waiting for Spring" (Japanese only)

This exhibition features works from the museum's collection, which are appropriate for the time of year when we celebrate the New Year and await the coming spring. Paintings and textiles with dragon motifs associated with the Chinese zodiac sign of the year, dragon, paintings of snow and plum blossoms associated with the New Year, and Yokoyama Taikan's masterpiece "Night Cherry Blossoms" will be on display to celebrate the spring of 2024, along with works based on the zodiac, good omen, flowers, birds, wind and moon themes.
