Description

The "Musashino Bayashi" is an o-hayashi (traditional folk music) that has been performed for 160 years in Musashino City with the sound of the taiko (taiko) ・ flute (flute) ・. It is a traditional event that has been designated as an "Intangible Folk Cultural Asset" of the city. The Musashino City Board of Education holds classes for elementary and junior high school students in hopes of passing on this local performing art to future generations.

The "Musashino Hayashi Chibikko Class" is open to elementary and junior high school students, starting with the beginner class in the first year.
By continuing to attend the class every year, students can advance to intermediate, semi-advanced, advanced, and superlative classes, in that order.
Let's teach "Musashino Sound" together and pass it on to the future.

（ Note ） In principle, classes are held every Saturday, but are cancelled on May 6, May 20, July 8, September 9 and September 16.
（ Note ） July 22, July 29, August 5, and August 12 are cancelled due to summer vacation.
（ Note ） "Special Summer Class" will be held on August 19.
（ Note ） The schedule is subject to change due to the convenience of the venue and the instructor, Musashinobayashi Preservation Society.
